Oracle

Oracle reported higher-than-expected revenue for its first quarter, driven largely by increased demand for its cloud services, which are popular among companies implementing artificial intelligence technologies. The company is making significant strides in the competitive cloud market, narrowing its gap with leaders such as Microsoft and Amazon Web Services. Oracle has introduced Oracle Database@AWS, a collaboration that allows users to run Oracle’s database services directly on AWS. Financially, Oracle’s cloud services and license support sector reported a 10% increase in revenue, reaching $10.52 billion. Total revenue for the quarter was $13.31 billion, surpassing the $13.23 billion predicted by analysts.
